What are the different account types?

What is "TRACK"?

TRACK lets anyone follow a runner or politician's videos and statements without supporting or opposing them — useful for keeping an eye on opponents. It is private: they aren't notified and it never appears on their profile.

What is "ENDORSE"?

ENDORSE means "I can vote for this person and I support them." Only WE-TP members whose address is in the office's area (state, district, county or city) can endorse. It is a personal opinion, not a campaign contribution.

What is "OPPOSE"?

OPPOSE means "I can vote for this person and I oppose them." Like ENDORSE, it is only for members who can vote for that office. Opposition counts are public; who opposes is never shown. You can choose one of Endorse, Back or Oppose per person, and Track works alongside any of them.

How does WE-TP protect my privacy and data?

WE-TP protects data using HTTPS in transit, secure password hashing, optional 2FA, admin-only access to verification documents, and session revocation on logout and account deletion. Verification ID and selfie files are stored only during pending review and deleted immediately when an administrator approves or rejects your application (or when a pending application expires after 30 days). You can access, export, correct, or delete your account data from Settings.

What happens to my verification documents?

Your ID and selfie are stored only while your application is pending manual admin review. Authorized administrators can view them during review. When your application is approved or rejected, verification files are deleted immediately and references are removed from your account. If your application stays pending for 30 days, verification files and the pending account are automatically removed. Verification images are never included in data exports.
